Stretching out her legs as she nears the finish line, Cameron McConnell (10) finishes the race on Sept. 7 with a fast enough time to qualify her as 11th in the nation for high school girls cross country runners. “I always remind myself just to stay humble,” said McConnell of her ranking as third best tenth grader runner in the nation recorded this year.
