CT Announcements: Week of 1-18

CT JOURNALISM PROMO FILMED PRIOR TO COVID-19

The first day of tryouts and practice for the season B sports is January 18th. Only athletes that have completed and turned in their registration on time will be able to practice. No late registrations will be accepted due to the shortened season.

The Golden Heart award highlights eight amazing individuals that have “opened their hearts” to touch the life of a Cherry Creek school district student with special needs. One honoree each Tuesday and Thursday of the month of March will be highlighted by CCSD website and social media platforms. Make sure to get your nominees in by January 29th.

There are new free meal pick-up days for anyone 18 and under. Preschool, k-12 remote learners, and quarantined students can now pick up their free breakfast or lunch, 7 days a week at any high school location. Middle school and high school hybrid students can pick up their free breakfast or lunch 5 days a week at any middle school location at the same times. Need a later pickup? Smoky Hill High School is open from 3pm-5pm.

If you need to change your schedule, make sure to contact your counselor by January 15th. You will be given a form that must be completed. Your counselor then will contact you at your email once the mistake has been fixed.

CCSD students, family, and community members can get free COVID 19 testing. Find more information and sign up with the link: https://www.primarybio.com/members/sign_up?redirect=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.primarybio.com%2Fm%2Fr%2Fccstudents%3Fregistration_type%3Dstudent&test_group=ccstudents
