Signing day is an event held at CT every year to celebrate the players moving onto a college career in their respective sports. In the first year only one player took the stage to be congratulated. But in recent years this event has showcased almost every sport in CT that the seniors participated in and has become more popular. Many parents, teachers, and coaches come to celebrate these great students who have reached a very pivotal achievement in their life. Trail media reporters Abdul Kashif and Will Devlin tell us more about signing day.

William Devlin, Staff Reporter
William Devlin is a sophomore who enjoys digital media and hopes to go into a profession related to it in the future. He wants to use digital media to learn new ways to capture stories and to work on his skills with a camera. He likes to work with sports but enjoys working on any story that he can get. Along with being a first-year Digital Media staff member, he is also working towards playing with the CT baseball team in the spring. Some things he likes doing in his free time are playing sports with friends, playing video games, and watching movies.
Abdul Rehman Kashif, Staff Reporter
Abdul Rehman Kashif is a senior at Cherokee Trail. Originally from New Jersey, Kashif moved to Colorado in August 2023. This is Kashif’s first year in trail media but he has taken video production in his old high school in New Jersey. His desire to join Trial Media is to make good stories and interview people. In his spare time, Kashif enjoys biking, exploring Colorado, and meeting and hanging out with friends.
