On February 8th, Cherokee Trail held the Honor Band concert featuring over 150 students from all across the district including 11 of CT’s very own. This event showcased the culmination of hours of preparation with the best players from many schools around the district. These players, through this program, we’re able to get a taste of what the professional world of music is like. A world where you must work with people you don’t know. The director of this year’s honor band performance is Captain Micheal Flynn who is also an air force officer stationed in Colorado springs. He helped to put together a performance that really shined light on the great musicians that this district has.
