Freshman Maddie Lange entered her first high school season of cross country, breaking course records and making a mark on our school’s running history. Lange placed 7th at the Nike Cross Regionals meet in Arizona, setting her path to compete nationally, and finished 4th at the Liberty Bell meet, setting the course record for a freshman with a time of 16:58 in the 5k. She shares her goals for her future, how she stays motivated, and what she does to excel as an athlete.
