Aiden Leckie

Aiden Leckie, Staff Reporter

Hi my name is Aiden Leckie.

I’m your friendly, typical Asian who loves his East Asia Food. Those rice, palabok, Asian seafood, and noodles are the cream on the crop.

Feeling old is probably one of the worst feelings I hate to feel at my age. You know, having all these responsibilities makes you feel old.

However, playing video games like Valorant and just ‌having fun, ‌whether that be with friends, movies, or anything makes me feel like my inner kid all over again.

Speaking of video games, I play a variety of games but the one in particular I most like is Valorant. Reason being is that it’s a very chaotic game and the craziness just adds to the fun.

I know what you’re thinking, “this guy is one big nerd who plays nothing but video games all day.” You’re kinda half true. I have other hobbies besides playing video games like video editing.

Video editing isn’t hard, but man, it is time-consuming. But with some bit of delightful music, it definitely helps time pass by while editing videos.

I listen to a good deal of music from all different generations, but the ones that strike me the most are phonk music, rock, and j-pop/anime opening/endings.

Though I do like listening to some old 2000s music that I used to listen to as a kid. Good old times :)

Brings back the memories of when my parents would take my electronics as a little kid every time I misbehaved.

I really loved playing on my old electronics like the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

But it’s all in the past and the past can hurt, but I like to remind myself of my accomplishments. As dumb as it sounds, I think one of my greatest accomplishments is getting an invitation from a content creator organization because of the emotions I brought into my videos that I edit, and I think that can definitely help with CT journalism.

I’m sure my video editing skills can definitely contribute to CT journalism. You know what they say, it’s always nice to try something new, and that’s the reason I joined CT journalism. To try something new and to hope to enjoy it.
