Colorado Administers COVID 19 Vaccines to School Nurses

Hunter Shykind and Teagan Wedige

School nurses were some of the first people to get COVID 19 vaccines in the state of Colorado. Colorado starting to administer vaccines marks the crucial step towards beating this virus and achieving herd immunity. In the future, school nurses may have to administer vaccines to the community and to other staff members, and assure that the vaccine is safe to receive. They encourage others to get the vaccine, if given the opportunity, and to still wear a mask while they are being rolled out.
