Chloe Cain has been a standout player in her debut year of high school basketball. With multiple Division One offers from schools like Nebraska, Wisconsin, Colorado State, Arizona State and CU Boulder, Chloe has been an amazing addition to the team this year. Currently, Chloe leads the team in assists, steals, and blocks, averaging 3.6 assists, 2.9 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game. Currently, the girls’ team record is 20-3, and they are seeded #1 headed into the playoffs. Chloe and the rest of the team will be a force to be reckoned with during the playoffs and are looking to bring home a state championship. Chloe said, “What separates me from other players on the court is my vision and patience.” Chloe is always trying to get her teammates involved and always has an unselfish mindset. Chloe mentioned, “Our overall team’s chemistry is amazing, whether it’s on the court or at school, we’re always just vibing.” This vibe the team carries is a major contribution to their success. Chloe has been playing basketball ever since she was in 1st grade. She said the countless hours practicing over the years, perfecting her craft, have granted her attention from college coaches and the ability to dominate on the court. In Chloe’s words, the key to winning is communicating and moving the ball on the court. The team has looked very confident and prepared for the playoffs happening at the Denver Coliseum and have their eyes set on bringing home a state title. With Chloe only being a freshman, her impact on the program will continue to grow, and she will continue to help the team win. The future is bright for both the girls’ basketball program and Chloe Cain’s basketball career.
