Cristopher Andres Rodriguez
He got his first name from his biological grandfather and his middle name from his dad's best friend. He said he’s usually on his walk to school at 7:55 in the morning just so he can get to school on time.
He associates his childhood with New Jersey. He said he goes to New Jersey every summer and most of his family is out, ”I like my grandma's food because I grew up eating it and so of course I love it” said Cristopher Rodriguez (10). Christopher says what keeps him young is playing video games 24/7 and just chatting with his friends.
He knew he was all grown up when he first came to CT, it was a change from middle school to high school. However, video games help him to stay happy and connected. He even “geeked out” when he got his new playstation for the first time, “I always liked playing video games because I always had fun and one of my best friends moved so it was a good way to still talk to each other and have fun. I feel like I've had a lot of memorable moments with my friends while playing video games,” said Rodriguez (10).
The thing Rodriguez was attached to the most was his wii because that's all he would play, especially since he still plays video games to this day.
He said his mom would listen to Drake most of the time. He said his major accomplishment was winning his lacrosse tournament when he was younger. Something paradoxical about him is that he likes Marvel and DC comics.
Rodriguez said he’s on the staff this year because he thought it would be fun to be a part of. He hopes to get better at film and other specialties regarding this field. Rodriguez plans to contribute by putting in effort and helping wherever he’s needed or required as a staff member.
